Aimee Coles

Falling in love with dance at the age of five, Aimee  Coles continued studying various forms of dance and performance and has taken a number of master classes and workshops around North America. She has had the opportunity to perform in productions such as Kittiwake Dance Theatre’s The Nutcracker and Mermaids of Avalon, Cabaret, DTAN, and Army of Sass. Aimee has been instructing and choreographing a variety of styles for the past few years and began the Paradise Youth Dance Program with the Town of Paradise. She holds a diploma in Community Recreation Leadership, a Bachelor of Recreation, and is both a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and a Certified Adaptive Recreation & Sport Specialist. Her education has allowed her to examine and study human anatomy, physiology, movement analysis and adaptions, which has helped her in choreography and injury prevention.

In addition to her education, Aimee has had the opportunity to merge her passion for both dance and inclusion through numerous certifications and trainings, allowing her to educate other instructors in the province in this area. Aimee believes that dance provides many beneficial life lessons, and wants her students to find their confidence through a fun dance experience and feel inspired to grow in their own abilities!
