Erika Jeffrey

Erika Jeffery is excited to be going into her second season as a dance teacher at Moving Pictures. Erika started dancing when she was only 2  years old and became an Assistant teacher at Moving Pictures at the age of 15. She has received intensive training in Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Tik Tok, Hip Hop, Street Jazz and Theatre Jazz. She believes that continuing her dance training is extremely important as a dance teacher. Erika enjoys learning dances online from Tik Tok, YouTube and video classes. She has taken workshops from esteemed dance instructors both online and in person. She graduated from the pre professional division of HHM Performing Arts Certificate where she trained in Dance, Acting and Musical Theatre.

 

Erika is involved in the local professional performing arts community. She performed as a Background Actress on “Astrid and Lilly Saves the World”, was a featured dancer in the Dance NL professional dancer showcase at the Pedestrian Mall and danced in the Nashville recorded song, “The Lonely Man” Music Video. Erika has a passion for working with the youngest dancers at the studio. She has a lot of experience working in childcare both within and outside of the dance community. Erika is excited to see your little one in class.
