Amanda Mallard

DANCE INSTRUCTOR

From the age of 4, Miss Amanda has held a special place in her heart for the stage and for dance. Training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. Along with intensive training in acting and singing. Amanda is a graduate from Randolph College for the Performing Arts where she studied acting for stage and film, singing and dancing. Amanda has trained up to Grade 4 in ISTD Cecchetti Ballet. She has worked with Treehouse Live/Kidomo, touring parts of Canada as Loonette the Clown in The Big Comfy Couch Live tour.  Amanda has also choreographed and starred as Angelina in Angelina Ballerina Live. As part of the Angelina Ballerina Show, Amanda would teach ballet to the little kids in the audience. She starred as Peggy Pig in The Three Little Pigs- The Musical at Solar Stage Theatre. Amanda was a member of Mount Pearl Show Choir and performed in Disney World with the choir. She was a teaching assistant for the Introduction to Stanislavsky at the Toronto Film School. Amanda has been in commercials, infomercials, TV shows, and many independent films. She regularly attends advanced dance classes at Moving Pictures Dance Co. Amanda loves to work with children and is a proud mom to her young son Zachary! Miss Amanda looks forward to sharing the joys of dance with your little one in class.
