Miss Jane began dancing at the age of 3 and dance has been her passion ever since. Jane is excited go into her second year teaching dance and her first year teaching dance at Moving Pictures Dance Co. She became an assistant teacher at Moving Pictures when she was 14 years old. Jane intensively trains in acting, singing and dance, she is a true triple threat who loves musical theatre. She has trained in many styles of dance including Musical Theatre, Irish Step, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz, Street Jazz and Hip Hop. Jane grew up both as a competitive dancer and a musical theatre performer. She has performed the lead role in multiple Songs from Broadway Performances at CFPA, including Lettie Lutz in The Greatest Showman, Sylvia Llewelyn-Davies in Finding Neverland, Grace O’Malley in The Pirate Queen, and Karen Smith in Mean Girls. She has played the following lead roles in plays, Ezra in Not Myself Today at CFPA (original musical by Courtney Fowler) and Zella in the short play No More Monsters (produced by Whadda Ya Call It? Productions, directed by Jody Rideout). Jane was a featured dancer in the Nashville recorded song, The Lonely Man’s Music Video. Jane shines in the Moving Pictures choreography classes where she is known for her unique spin on Irish Step Choreography. Jane also has a passion for writing - she wrote the 2021 Moving Pictures Halloween Play Script and is looking forward to writing scripts for her Triple Threat class. Miss Jane looks forward to dancing, singing and acting with you in class this year.
